Forebuilt Studio is a trading name of Max McGill, an independent web designer based in Salou (Tarragona), Spain. You can reach us at hello@forebuiltstudio.com.

What we hold and where it comes from

If we have emailed you, we hold the name of your business, its public contact details (address, phone number, email address, opening hours) and the content of your public website. We take these from two public sources: OpenStreetMap and your own website. For UK businesses we also check the public Companies House register to confirm that the business is a company.

Why we use it

We use it for one thing: to build a redesign proposal for your website and tell you about it. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: offering a relevant service to a business, using details that business has published for people to contact it.

Your preview page

The proposal lives on a private link that search engines are told not to index. It is marked as a proposal on every screen. If you do not take it up, it is deleted 30 days after our first email.

How long we keep it

• If you do not reply: 30 days from our first email.
• If you ask us to stop: we delete everything except your email address, which stays on a do-not-contact list so that we never email you again.
• If you become a customer: for as long as we host your site, and for as long afterwards as tax law requires us to keep invoices.

Who sees it

We do not sell or share it. Our email is hosted by Zoho (EU data centre) and our pages by Cloudflare.

Your rights

You can ask us to stop contacting you, to delete what we hold, or to send you a copy of it. Email hello@forebuiltstudio.com and we will do it within a few working days. You can also complain to your data protection authority: the ICO in the United Kingdom, or the AEPD in Spain.
